2. How do I get to The Delacorte Theater in Central Park?
The closest entrances to the Delacorte are at 81st Street and Central Park West or 79th Street and Fifth Avenue.

3. How else can I get tickets to see Shakespeare in the Park?
We have a Free Ticket distrubution line at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park every day there is a performance. Tickets are distributed at 1pm on the day of the show. We also have Free Ticket distributions in each of the five boroughs on select days. Click here for more information.

A standby line may form at any time after the 1pm distribution in Central Park has given out its allotment of tickets. Patrons in this line wait for tickets that may become available after 6:30pm. 1 ticket per person, subject to availability. General distribution line policies apply.

4. How many tickets are distributed on the Virtual Line?
It changes on a daily basis but the majority of Free tickets for Shakespeare in the Park are distributed via the Free line at the Delacorte Theater.

5. What if I can’t pick up the tickets by 1/2 hour prior to curtain or I don’t have a photo ID because it was lost or stolen?
Unfortunately we have to adhere to these strict pick-up rules to ensure security and fairness in ticketing.

6. What if I don’t have a computer or my computer isn’t working?
You can access our website from anywhere that offers Internet service. Or you can also wait on our Free line at The Delacorte Theater or in the boroughs on our borough days. For more information click here.

7. Is there a Virtual Line similar to the Free Lines at The Delacorte Theater for Seniors or persons who are disabled?
We are looking into ways to make this happen for the future. In the meantime, we offer specific seating sections for those groups because of their special needs.
