The Virtual Line is our way of expanding accessibility for Free Shakespeare in the Park. By following the directions below and signing up for the Virtual Line, you are given a daily opportunity to receive 2 Free tickets to Shakespeare in the Park.
1. You must first register a username and password by following the directions above under REGISTER. Registering will require entering your name, email address, mailing address and a contact phone number.
2. As early as 12am on the day of the performance for which you wish to join the Virtual Line, you can sign up by entering your username and password in the SIGN IN section above. As with our regular Free ticket line in Central Park, you may sign-up on as many days as you wish, but only once per day per performance.
3. Between 1pm and 6pm, those who signed up to join the Virtual Line must sign in again to see if you have been selected to receive a pair of tickets.
4. Tickets will be held at The Delacorte Theater Box Office. Pick up will begin one hour prior to curtain.
Tickets not picked up by 1/2 prior hour to curtain will be released to the stand-by line.
VALID PHOTO ID OF PERSON WHO REGISTERED/SIGNED IN IS REQUIRED.
5. Please be courteous to your fellow theater lover and only request tickets to performances you will actually attend. This will give those in the Virtual Line as well as those who wait at the Delacorte the best chance of getting tickets.
6. Tickets distributed via the Virtual Line are not wheelchair or handicapped accessible. For information on accessible seats call 212-539-8662.
